First Session: Reflections in a Golden Eye, by Carson McCullers, June 4th, 2012
Filed under Carson McCullers
I read the HELL out of Reflections in a Golden Eye and am itching to discuss.
I kept thinking, as I read, about the time this was written and how Bold it must have seemed to those first readers. I loved her prose and her delvings.
Loneliness everywhere you look, odd and tragic POVs, all secretly human as all get out but odd & tragic. I felt several varieties of sad for the charactors
in this more and more anxious tale. Loved it, will read more of Ms. McCullers
